Bush Leads all GOP Candidates in Virginia Primaries

A recent poll conducted by Public Policy Polling has revealed the results for the various Republican presidential candidates. Jeb Bush continues to lead the pack, while Donald Trump and Scott Walker are tied for second place.

The poll asked 1,170 registered voters who they would vote for if an election were to occur today. The poll had a margin of error of 2.9 percent.

    • Rand Paul – 5%
    • Bobby Jindal – 3%
    • Other / Not Sure – 3%

Polls still to favor Bush, who appears to be the moderate choice when compared to all the major Republican candidates. Trump continues to hit the right tones amongst voters who are concerned with immigration, while Walker holds on as a third best candidate.

In head to head polls, Clinton tends to come out ahead of the major Republican candidates in Virginia. She beat Bush by 8 percent, Trump by 10 percent, Walker by 5 percent, Rubio by 4 percent, Paul by 5 percent, Huckabee by 10 percent, Cruz by 7 percent, and Carson by 4 percent.
