Clinton and Trump Dominate South Carolina
The latest poll by Fox News has revealed that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump lead their respective parties.
Which Democratic candidate would you vote for?
- Hillary Clinton – 65%
- Bernie Sanders – 21%
Which Republican candidate would you vote for?
- Donald Trump – 35%
- Ben Carson – 15%
- Ted Cruz – 14%
- Marco Rubio – 14%
- Jeb Bush – 5%
The race for the Democratic nomination is being dominated by Clinton. Bernie Sanders is struggling to catch his opponent and it may be too little too late at this point.
Sanders is running on a much better platform, but Clinton benefits from name recognition and the fact that she is a household name.
For the Republicans, Trump is somehow still leading despite his decision to continuously flirt with racism. Voters are eating up his rhetoric and he is using it to galvanize the racist demographics in the United States.
The battle for second place is a tight one, being dominated mainly by Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. However, in this poll, Ben Carson made a resurgence and demonstrated that he is not ready to bow out yet.
Should Trump implode, and no one knows if it will happen, but if it does, look to see Cruz or Rubio overtake him and present themselves as stable candidates.
