The latest on the presidential horse race.

Donald Trump Pulls Ahead by 7

Donald Trump has managed to increase his lead over Hillary Clinton to 7 points in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll.

Which presidential candidate would you vote for?

  • Donald Trump – 44%
  • Hillary Clinton – 37%

Against all odds, Trump continues to pull ahead of Clinton in the polls. Why is this happening? No one knows for sure, but it probably has something to do with the decision reached in Clinton’s email scandal and the fact that Bernie Sanders collapsed his campaign and officially endorsed Clinton. On top of this, Trump’s pro-police message is extremely popular at the moment as voters are shocked by the horrific shootings that took place in Dallas one week ago.

As for Clinton, she should still win this election without any issues. It is still early and voters are being difficult. Closer to November, expect voters to wise up and realize that the future of America shouldn’t be decided by a spray tan and toupee. With her new healthcare and education proposals, Clinton is in a good position to win over the entire liberal vote and many undecided voters with such attractive policies.

I don’t get this column. When Hillary is leading it’s over and when Trump is ahead, there is a long way to go. Both sides will get a boost after their conventions and then it will come down the debates, Sept. and October. The economy has been mediocre at best and poor in battleground states like PA so this will be a close race all the way until November.
