Gravis: Clinton and Trump Continue to Trade the Lead
The latest general election poll by Gravis has revealed that Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump by a slim lead of 2 points.
Which presidential candidate would you vote for?
- Hillary Clinton – 50%
- Donald Trump – 48%
Trump continues to be an enigma this election cycle. This weekend saw Trump make another political plunder that hasn’t been reflected in the polls as of yet. On Saturday, Trump tweeted a picture attacking Clinton for her fundraising prowess, but the photo unfortunately featured the Star of David and piles of cash, and it has since been revealed that the photo came from a neo-Nazi message board. If Trump continues to make idiotic mistakes like this, he will never be able to solidify the moderate vote.
However, Clinton herself had a dramatic weekend as well. After Bill Clinton secretly met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch earlier in the week, Hillary sat down for a voluntary interview with the FBI, putting her well known email scandal in the forefront once again.
Regardless, Clinton’s mistake is well documented and far more palatable to Americans, while Trump’s frequent flirtation with racism makes him an undesirable candidate for the majority of Americans.
