Republicans Win Michigan Primary
The latest poll by Fox 2 Detroit / Mitchell has showcased the various candidates in head-to-head scenarios. In all three major matchups, the Republicans came out ahead, beating Hillary Clinton.
- Hillary Clinton 39% – Donald Trump 40%
- Hillary Clinton 40% – Jeb Bush 41%
- Hillary Clinton 36% – Marco Rubio 45%
The results of this poll are highly indicative of how bad of a candidate Clinton is. Her platform is unknown, she is caught in a political scandal, and she refuses to engage the average American voter in a meaningful way.
While Trump is a wild card who frequently makes inappropriate comments, he is dedicated to his campaign and he refuses to back down to anyone. He continuously appeals to diehard conservatives who are looking for radical solutions to everyday problems.
Bush is a safe candidate for Republicans who want to vote for a moderate conservative. His platform won’t blow you away, he makes mostly safe statements, and he refuses to stand firm on any major issues that may hurt his chances as a candidate.
With the election fast approaching, the Republicans continue to chip away at Clinton’s lead and it may only be a matter of time before the majority of the polls report a close race between the two major parties.
