The latest on the presidential horse race.

Sanders and Trump Top New Hampshire Primaries

The latest poll by CNN and WMUR has revealed that Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are ahead of their respective parties.

Which Democratic candidate would you vote for?

  • Bernie Sanders – 46%
  • Hillary Clinton – 30%
  • Joe Biden – 14%

Which Republican candidate would you vote for?

  • Donald Trump – 26%
  • Carly Fiorina – 16%
  • Marco Rubio – 9%
  • Ben Carson – 8%
  • John Kasich – 7%
  • Jeb Bush – 7%

Once again, Sanders has taken the top spot for the Democrats in a major poll. The same outcome occurred in the previous week in other polls, but Hillary Clinton quickly regained the lead in our national and state-side polls. The race for the Democrats ticket is heating up and Sanders is battling hard to try and overtake Clinton and win over undecided voters.

Trump continues to struggle in the polls. He topped the Republicans in this poll, but Carly Fiorina is quickly catching up, and she has overtaken Ben Carson. Prior to this poll, Carson enjoyed second place in the polls for several weeks, but his radical views may be costing him votes with moderate conservatives who are more in line with Fiorina. Trump will continue to lead for the next few weeks. However, his lack of political knowledge is beginning to show and he may start to drop in the polls if other candidates can embarrass him on important issues that require more than one line answers.
