Trump Pulls Closer to Clinton, Remains 2 Points Down
Donald Trump continues to struggle in recent polls, falling to Hillary Clinton in the latest general election poll by Gravis.
Which presidential candidate would you vote for?
- Hillary Clinton – 51%
- Donald Trump – 49%
Trump didn’t lose this poll by much, but a loss is a loss, and he continues to pile them off. To make things even stranger, he thanked his supporters after this poll came out, despite the fact that he lost.
In addition, Trump continues to struggle with his own party. A large portion of the GOP is unhappy with him and want to overthrow him and select a new candidate. While this would prove to be suicidal for the party, it demonstrates how unhappy they are with their current situation.
Clinton is still in power and stands a strong chance of winning the upcoming election. Her centrist platform is far more appealing to voters and will appear a lot safer than many of the radical things that Trump is proposing.
