If you are a Republican, it is time to come to terms with Trump being the party’s candidate heading into 2016. Many experts predicted his collapse, but it still hasn’t happened, and at this point, it probably won’t.
Trump has said every hateful thing imaginable, he has alienated specific demographics, and he hasn’t shied away from it at any point. He continues to tap into the hatred of every day Americans, galvanizing them again’t the political status quo in an effort to start his own Trump-branded political revolution.
While Trump himself probably isn’t racist, his hateful comments have helped him secure votes from Americans who are fed up with the current state of affairs in this country.
Cruz on the other hand, is equally as hateful as Trump, but more suave about it. He dislikes the Middle East, wants to start another war, is extremely religious, and a direct representation of the Tea Party movement. However, he isn’t as far into the deep end as Trump, which is saying a lot because Cruz certainly has his flaws as well.
As for the other Republican candidates, like Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, and the others, there is virtually no time left for them to stage an offensive and they will slowly ride off into the sunset as Trump and Cruz battle for the nomination.
