Trump Wins the Latest Nevada Republican Presidential Caucus Poll
The latest poll by CNN / ORC calculated the results of the Nevada Republican presidential caucus. Donald Trump came in with a 16 point lead over Ben Carson and a triple digit lead over the rest of the candidates.
Which Republican candidate would you vote for?
- Donald Trump – 38%
- Ben Carson – 22%
- Carly Fiorina – 8%
- Marco Rubio – 7%
- Jeb Bush – 6%
- Ted Cruz – 4%
Another poll and the same results. Trump is still leading the Republican Party after briefly losing his lead for a few weeks. He never dropped out of the top spot, but Carson closed the gap during that span. Now that Trump has settled down and focused his attacks on useful topics, he is gaining popularity again. He also provided live commentary for the Democrats presidential debate, which gained him over 40,000 followers on Twitter and more notoriety.
Carson is holding strong in second place. However, his campaign is losing steam with moderate Republicans, who have no interest in his radical views, which he has been happily publicizing in his latest media appearances.
As for Carly Fiorina, Jeb Bush, and Marco Rubio, their campaigns have been fairly quiet in the past few weeks. Fiorina is laying low after getting too involved in the Planned Parenthood debate, while Rubio and Bush are waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce on the leaders.
